Ilmaris Labs is a studio in London, founded by Lee McNeil and Joyce Galugbo. We consult for product companies, and we build our own products.

how we work
We build with AI agents we made. They research, draft and write code alongside us. We decide, design, write and review the code, and approve everything that leaves the company.

Lee McNeil
Co-founder, engineering
Lee has built software professionally since 1998. He led engineering at John Lewis Ventures and at Elephant Healthcare, and UK engineering at Skedulo. He worked at McKinsey from 2014 to 2017, then co-founded Doubly Good in 2020. He spent three years in Domino’s R&D, building its data platform and an IoT sensor platform. He has led teams from 2 to 24, across four time zones. He usually arrives before the foundations do, and leaves once they hold.

Co-founder, product and operations
Joyce leads product and operations. She spent over a decade running hospitality venues before turning to economics and data science, and she makes sure what we build fits how businesses actually work.
